Meet our Principal, Mrs. Henderson
Mrs. Henderson is a proud Lowcountry native and a product of Charleston County Schools. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston and later completed her Master’s degree in Educational Administration at The Citadel.
Her teaching career began in 2000 in Greenville, SC, where she worked as a special education teacher before moving into 3rd and 5th grade classrooms. A few years later, she returned to Mount Pleasant and joined the Charles Pinckney Elementary family—a place she has called home ever since. Over the years, Mrs. Henderson has served in a variety of roles at Pinckney, including fourth grade teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. In 2021, she was honored to become the school’s principal.
Outside of school, Mrs. Henderson enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Cade, have two daughters, Ella and Natalie, both proud graduates of Park West schools. When she’s not at Pinckney, you’ll likely find her cheering on the Clemson Tigers!
