Meet our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Ferguson

Lisa Marie Ferguson is honored to serve in her second year as Assistant Principal at Charles Pinckney Elementary School. With 18 years of experience in education, she has served students and families across three South Carolina school districts and seven schools in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, Technology Instructional Coach, Coastal Science Lab teacher, and Parent Educator and Magnet Coordinator.

Mrs. Ferguson is a proud graduate of Wofford College and earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from the College of Charleston and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from The Citadel.

A Mount Pleasant native, Mrs. Ferguson attended James B. Edwards Elementary School, Moultrie Middle School, and Wando High School. She is especially grateful for the opportunity to serve the community that helped shape her and is passionate about building strong relationships with students, families, and staff while fostering a positive and supportive school culture.

Outside of school, Mrs. Ferguson enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys and making the most of life in the Lowcountry.
