| Description: | On February 16, 2013, a group of 4th graders participated in the Hopelite Division Trebuchet Accuracy Competition. Audrey, James, Matthew, Mikala, and Sage built a small trebuchet, learned how to shoot it, and practiced for a few weeks prior to the competition. After learning about the physics of shooting the trebuchet accurately, these students took their knowledge into competition. They competed against 9 other teams in their division, and won 1st place in the accuracy portion of the competition. |
